In this activity pupils have been shipwrecked on a deserted island, they must explore various locations on the island to find the best place to setup camp.
At our school, we encourage this to be a group based activity where pupils look at the locations and rank them in order by taking votes on where to set up camp. On the final screen they are asked to rank the locations from best to worst and a report is produced.
The report is for the teacher to print and shows the locations pupils have viewed and the ranking for each location (ignore the scores)..the report is also useful to enable the whole class to discuss each teams selections to find out why they have chosen a location.
